20 Ağustos 1975 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu.
Çeşitli okullarda okudu.
2014 yılından beri fotoğrafla profesyonel olarak ilgileniyor.
Modern dünya sisteminin bize sunduğu hayatın karmaşası, yabancılaşan insan, yalnızlık, mutluluk, özgürlük gibi konular fotoğraflarıyla anlatmayı seçtiği dertlerin başında geliyor.
Myanmar, Kamboçya ve Malezya’nın çeşitli yerlerinde suyun üzerinde yaşayan toplulukların, bizim dünyamızla taban tabana zıt hayatını anlattığı WATER WORLD kitabı 2016 yılında yayınlandı.

Proje, 14 Ocak – 14 Şubat 2017 tarihleri arasında, İstanbul Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery’de sergilendi.
2017-2018 yıllarında, Hindistan’ın; Gujarat, Rajasthan ve Madya Pradesh eyaletlerinde, 100’ün üzerinde köy ve kasabayı ziyaret etti. Birçok çingene göçüne katıldı. Çeşitli çingene topluluklarının görkemli inat hikayesini çekti.
İki senelik bir çalışmanın ardından, ikinci kitabı INDIAN GYPSIES/HİNDİSTAN ÇİNGENELERİ, Kasım 2018’de yayınlandı.
INDIAN GYPSIES/HİNDİSTAN ÇİNGENELERİ kitabından çeşitli fotoğraflarla dünyanın önemli fotoğraf yarışmalarına katıldı.

Gene Gürcistan’da çektiği bir başka proje olan, ‘Sanatoryumda Yaşayan Kadınlar’,
2020 yılında International Color Awards’ta ödüle layık görüldü.
Sanatçı, 12 Mart – 12 Nisan 2020 tarihleri arasında, İstanbul ArtGalerim Bebek’te, Afrika, Hindistan ve Asya fotoğraflarından oluşan, GENETİĞİYLE OYNANMAMIŞ İNSAN sergisini gerçekleştirdi. .
Yaklaşık beş sene üzerinde çalıştığı ve çekimleri 2022 yılı başlarında tamamlanan İSTANBUL BALIKÇILARI projesinden fotoğraflar:

Türkiye’nin doğu coğrafyasında Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Tunceli, Bingöl gibi şehirlerde çektiği son projesi KAR: BİR HİKAYENİN İLK CÜMLESİ, 7-26 Şubat 2026 tarihleri arasında İstanbul Yapı Kredi Bomontiada’da dördüncü kişisel sergisi olarak gösterildi
Sanatçı şu anda, yeni projesi olan YAVAŞLIK’ın çekimlerini sürdürmekte ve üçüncü kitabı olacak İSTANBUL BALIKÇILARI üzerine çalışmaktadır.

Born in Istanbul on August 20, 1975.

Has been professionally involved in photography since 2014.
The complexities of life presented to us by the modern world system, alienation, loneliness, happiness, and freedom are among the main concerns he chooses to address through his photographs.
His book WATER WORLD, published in 2016, depicts the lives of communities living on the water in various parts of Myanmar, Cambodia, and Malaysia, lives diametrically opposed to our world.

The project was exhibited at the Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery in Istanbul between January 14 and February 14, 2017.
Between 2017 and 2018, he visited over 100 villages and towns in the Indian states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
He participated in many gypsy migrations and captured the magnificent stories of resilience of various gypsy communities.
After two years of work, his second book, INDIAN GYPSIES, was published in November 2018.
He participated in major international photography competitions with various photographs from INDIAN GYPSIES.
He received an 'Honorable Mention' at the International Photography Awards 2018,
an 'Honorable Mention' in the Photojournalism category at the International Color Awards 2019,
and an 'Honorable Mention' in the People category at the International Color Awards 2019.
His project, ‘STRONG WOMEN OF GEORGIA’, shot in the mountains of Georgia, won an award at the London International Creative Competition in 2019.
Another project, ‘WOMEN LIVING IN A SANATORIUM’, also shot in Georgia, was awarded at the International Color Awards in 2020.
Between March 12 and April 12, 2020, the artist held the exhibition ‘GENETICALLY UNMODIFIED HUMAN’, consisting of photographs from Africa, India and Asia, at ArtGalerim Bebek in Istanbul.
Photographs from his project ‘ISTANBUL FISHERMEN’, which he worked on for approximately five years and completed in early 2022, won
a ‘Gold Winner’ in the Black & White, People category at the New York Photography Awards.
the ‘Silver Winner’ award in the People Photography-Culture category at the European Photography Awards 2022,
the ‘Gold Winner’ award in the People - Culture category, and the ‘Silver Winner’ award in the Editorial Photography-Documentary category at the Muse Photography Awards.
He was also a ‘Nominee’ at the 15th International Color Awards.
ISTANBUL FISHERMEN, was exhibited at Yapı Kredi Bomontiada in Istanbul from December 3-18, 2022.
His latest project, SNOW: THE FIRST SENTENCE OF A STORY, shot in cities such as Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Tunceli, and Bingöl in the eastern geography of Turkey, was shown as his fourth solo exhibition at Yapı Kredi Bomontiada in Istanbul from February 7-26, 2026.
The artist is currently continuing the shooting of his new project, SLOWNESS, and is working on his third book, ISTANBUL FISHERMEN.
